Praying for you and your son dear Carol. And everyone in the path of this nasty bia~tch...we have done pretty much everything we can do to prepare. We do have a generator...but Don can't get it started. Most likely because it's sat for some 14 years since Hurricane Charley.

One would think he might start it every so often just like a car that sits..but then this is DON we are talking about...lol.

So I have a freezer full of meat that I will be grilling up a storm and passing out to the neighbors if we lose power...I guess I should have insisted he try it out days ago...what a guy! emoticon

Thanks Carol! I SO appreciate the info on the composter...duh...I never even thought of using it for our flowers and bushes. We do have some nasty roving raccoons so its good to know its entirely enclosed. If we are lucky enough to keep our home I'm going to do a lot more to the yard. I'd like to put in another pergola and a seating area over on the East side of the pavers. The neighbor FINALLY pulled out some invasive pepper trees that were threatening to eat our HOUSE! They also dropped incredibly annoying and nasty staining berries all over the pavers. They are GONE...so now we just have our sea grapes on that side that need a serious pruning and then we can enjoy that end of our back yard area.

It would be most excellent to put the composter. I don't know if we'd get a garden though...too many wild creatures so close..they would think it was a gourmet feast just for them.

Also the bread...most excellent...I'm going to try it. I'll have to get a dough hook...whoopee.

Have a beautiful day and thank you most kindly for your sharing spirit my friend! emoticon
