Hi, welcome to my SparkPage. I've tried everything and I've come to the conclusion it's not the diet or program - it's me. I lack the will power to keep going. But here I am - again.

I can do it, I know I can. I've actually been a member of SparkPeople for quite awhile and love the motivation and support it offers. I never used the community though until now and kinda hope to meet some new people.

Fitness Minutes: 55,695

My Goals:
I'm a musician and there is no worse place to be overweight than in the entertainment business. I am SO tired of hearing "You're pretty hot for a big girl" - haven't hit anyone yet, but was tempted. My ultimate goal is to be 140 lb. I'm 5'3" and a previous weight lifter - so ultra thin and lean is not a reality for me. So I'll settle for being firm and buff again :)

My Program:
Dancing, walking, and just basically eating healthy. I did P90X last year and that's what helped me lose all the weight. I'd do it again, but I seem to be having trouble getting up early enough in the morning. I figured if I post my results for everyone to see, maybe that will be motivation too.

Personal Information:
I'm Tamie. I'm the frontwoman in a classic rock band. We play out on the weekends - great exercise but not consistent. I work in an office during the day, so I don't get much exercise. I'm married to a wonderful man and have a beautiful 18 year old daughter. My life is pretty good. It took a lot of soul-searching (and finding the right man) but I can finally say I'm happy with my life. NOW I want to be happy with ME.

Other Information:
I love to spend time with my husband, walk, read, watch movies, and of course sing.
