I'm going to take this one day at a time. I have started over hundreds of times in the past. I don't want this to be another "start over", I want it to be an achievable goal / way to live, be healthy and happy.

My Goals:
My goals are:

* To get healthier and more fit.
* Lose 100 pounds.
* Be able to walk up stairs / up hills without becoming short of breath.
* Be healthy enough to play with my grand children for years to come, maybe even my great grand children!!
* Be able to sit indian style or with my knees up to my chest in front of me.
* Be able to get down on the floor / sit on the ground and be able to get back up easily on my own.
* And there are many more I think of in my head daily as I do things. Simple everyday things that just shouldn't be so hard to do!!

My Program:
* Choosing healthier foods.
* Limiting sweets and unhealthy snack foods.
* Staying with in my calorie limit.
* Exercise, exercise, exercise....even if it's just 10 minutes!

Personal Information:
I am from and live in western North Carolina, near Asheville. I have 3 kids and 3 grand children. I have been a nurse for 30 years. And even tho for years I have educated many patients on how to be and live healthier, I have not followed my own advice. I'm tired of being so fat that I am uncomfortable in my own skin, tired of having a hard time finding clothes that look nice, fit good, and feel good to wear! ! want to be healthy, more fit, to be able to go on a hike, or ride amusement rides, just plain walk around town without feeling like I am too fat to do all the things I want to! And even tho this site says I have been a member since May of 2011, I only used it consistently for a short time. I need to get serious about this and stay consistent!

Other Information:
I love reading, working in my yard, doing anything with my kids / grand kids, listening to live music, going to the casino now and then, playing spades and backgammon. I'm not a big TV sports person, but I like going to sporting events in person. I like to cook, go on long drives, sight see, take trips. I love going to church and getting as close to my Savior as I can. Country , gospel and contemporary christian are my favorite music types. But I enjoy some rock, hip hop ect too. I like All kinds of movies.
