I am Treesa.I was a big spark page user and lost a lot of weight, met a lot of great friends in doing so. Life got difficult and I had a few changes in my life. Needless to say I gained some weight in the process. I am back to what I know works! Logging my food and exercise and getting help from people in the same situation! I hope I can motivate some of you as well. My son is getting married in April 2017. I have time to get fit. Let's do it together!

Fitness Minutes: 26,638

My Goals:
My goal is to stay at 135 and not gain the weight back. I want to tone up my body and be more healthy in the process. I want to exercise every day because it is fun not because I have too.

My Program:
I am following weight watchers with a low carb concentration. I try to do cardio 3-4 times a week and strength training 3 times a week. I love Coach Niclole's quick but effective videos and do them often.
I have made it through the c25k program and enjoy running. I still try to walk every day and add a run into the walks when I am out alone or with my dogs.

Personal Information:
I live in Northern lower Michigan. I recently retired after teaching Special Education after 30 years. I have 4 grown sons and plan on traveling to visit them more now that I have the time to do so.

Other Information:
I like to read when I have time to just sit and do it. I m learning to crochet to keep my hands busy while watching tv. I love tv shows like the csi shows and army wives. I dont watch much tv because commercials are just too long. I play golf in the summer and x-country ski in the winters.

    It is 80 here today emoticon emoticon I need to go enjoy it now! I did a fun 5 mile run yesterday. I'm hoping I can finally get out to Michigan! I think I can take more than 2 days off at a time soon :-) We need to talk soon....I love your profile pic...I think she looks like you. Hope everything is going well......

    Still not retired but maybe in a year or two, although government cutbacks may push me into retirement in a year. We will how things move along. Always busy it seems. Have agained about 10 pounds but plan on lossing it; it always creeps up slowly(haha).

    Take care of yourself, sounds like reitrement is a blast and gives you lots of time to bond with grandkids too.
