today is wednesday, august 29, 2018. i haven't been here in 6 years. i think i gave up again.
a lot has happened since then. the best was, i got another grandchild 4 years ago; a precious girl named Ivy, although i call her Tic-Tac. my other 5 grands are adults now.
the worst thing was, my husband of almost 43 years died back in march. it's been a tough 6 months, but i am doing well.
AND i am at my heaviest; 235 lbs. and i know why - emotional eating. the first 4 months i practically lived on iced coffee with cream and 4 packets of sweetener, & potato chips. family sized bags. been slowly having less of those and adding back real food; not the healthiest choices, either. convenience foods and a bit of fruit and veg here and there. just started cooking a little again, too.
sooooo, i figured i give this place another try and see how i do. i wanna watch my Tic-Tac grow up and become a terrific adult like my other grands.

i'm sick of starting over. that's about the only thing i'm really good at, though.
i've been starting weightloss/get fit/get healthy plans all of my adult life. it's about bloody time i did it already and STOPPED startin' all the damn time!
i'm 54 years old, i have type II diabetes, depression, a myriad of allergies, fibromyalgia, a bit of arthritis and heel spur.
i think i see myself as a victim and i HATE that! i only just came to that realization last night, Feb. 28, 2012. that needs to change.
i am NOT confident i can do that, though.

maverick59. sadly that is not a real tat. one of granddaughters drew it on me. i cant justify the cost of a tattoo when i could put that money to good use on bills or groceries. but thanks for comment!

Will you be getting a new tat with every 20 pound update?
