Greetings! I'm Susan. I am a New England native who has lived in sunny Florida for most of my adult life. I have a great husband and two wonderful grown sons. The Lord Jesus Christ saved my soul and I'm so thankful to know I have a home in heaven. What about you, friend? These days I am walking my way to a weight of 140. More importantly, my desire is to live a healthy lifestyle and remain mobile and in my right mind all the days the Lord gives me on this earth. Thank you to Chris Downie and to everyone at SparkPeople for this great community. Together we can reach our goals!

Fitness Minutes: 6,508

My Goals:
I want to weigh 140. I want to be healthy and in shape. I want to lower my triglycerides and raise my HDL. I would like to be able to get off my cholesterol & triglyceride medications. I want to learn to cook heathy and delicious food that my whole family will love. I just figured out on the BMI calculator that I will be out of the "obese" category when I weigh 174.8. As of today, May 1, 2014, I am 41.6 pounds away. Today I weigh 216.4, down from an all-time high of 223 or so in February. I finally gave up soda on January 22, 2014 - even diet soda - and my A1C dropped from 6.0 to 4.9!! Huge accomplishment for me. Huge.

My Program:
Weigh and measure all my food. Track all my food and fitness minutes. Read the King James Bible and The Spark every day. Do at least 10 minutes of cardio every day. Do circuit training 3 times a week.
