"Don't trade what you want most for what you want at the moment."

I have this saying plastered around my life (in my wallet, taped to my computer screen at work, in my bathroom...) This is what has helped keep me on track.

When I was in 3rd grade, a girl gave me the nickname, Blue Whale, something that stuck with me my entire life because I didn't know how to let go and move on from it. I am finally moving on and moving up! I am ready to live my life MY way! No more blue whale, its only me and no one else! Here's to a whole new life!

Fitness Minutes: 22,867

My Goals:
My goal is to be happy in my skin, feel good about myself, be healthy, and be a great role model for my kids. I do not want them to grow up with a similar warped sense of weight.

I have been trying to finish up this weight loss journey and start my life of maintaining but it just seems so far away!

My first BIG goal is 150lbs with an ultimate goal of 140lbs.

And a perk goal...I want to look hot! I want to turn heads (even if for just a moment) and have amazing legs. I want my butt to move back up too!


My Program:
FOOD:
- Eat between 1350-1600 calories a day.
- Track what I eat.
- Pack my lunch every day and nothing more.
- Snacks are OK.
- Drink my water.
- Eat a clean, whole diet.
- Dessert is not necessary every night no matter what that little voice says.

EXERCISE:
–Running several days a week
–Strength training at home
–Yoga
–Swimming

Walking to work as often as I can.

I need to get back to being more conscious of what I am eating and working at making my diet more balanced and in the right proportions. I am trying to plan my meals a day in advance and log everything in in the AM so I can stay on track.

    Oh yeaaaahhh! Birthday was Sunday. You and I were both whooping it up with our fams. Thanks for the gopher love! If gophers were candles there were 12 too many. :P
    My bib for the race (*cough* party) I registered for next week arrived yesterday. What the hell was I thinking?? Its 4.2 miles along the Charles River in Boston. My "big" walks (with little gaspy jogs) lately have been only 5k. Ah well, I'll likely walk the dang thing. Husband and brother are going too and there's a Reggaefest (w/live music and caribbean food) at the end. It'll be an adventure. I wonder if I can find a cheap dreadlock wig @ iParty and make a COMPLETE ass of myself? HA! Maybe I can look at it as an exercise in humility by learning how to be OK with being a race day caboose?

    Hey Miss Thang! Hope you're enjoying the holiday weekend!
    So, I'm upping the ante, throwing down the gauntlet, egging you on, showing up, you know the deal. Went for an hour walk (with gaspy jogs sprinkled in) both yesterday and today. I'm on the train baby. Hop on. Tell me what you're doing! C'mon lets BE the hotchick challenge.
    I'm working on a meal plan and workout plan for June this weekend.
