I am the classic dieter. Decide to diet. Loose weight, gain it all back plus a couple, diet and loose it all again, gain it all back plus a couple. Classic YOYO......that's me. I want to get it under control and keep it off!!

9/10/07:Time to get back on it, have really let myself go. I am at 231 pounds and feel terrible. Well here we go!!

10/15/07: Off to a great start, I have lost 21 pounds so far and I am down to 210 lbs.
Now comes the hard part, I have 1 month to get down to a mini goal of 200 pounds by 11/14/07. By 12/31/07 I want to be down to 190, and finally after this long journey by the end of February I want to be at 180.

11/23/07:Made it through Thanksgiving still down 2 pounds for the week. Currently at 203 lbs., didn't make my mini goal of 200 by 11/14/07 but I do still believe I am on track. I still don't know how long it will take me to get to 180, I still am shooting for the end of February which gives me 14 weeks to lose 23 pounds which looks doable to me. I get more and more comments on the weight loss and have no clue as to what I will look like at 180 because it has been many a year since I weighed that.

1/8/08:Damn Holidays...... gained about 5 pounds over the holidays and when you think of all the effort you put forth to loose 5 pounds and just isn't worth it. Well back on it starting the 7th and hopefully I can get back the motivation to get my butt down to 180 by April 1st. Heading to Florida then and my original goal was to be at 180 by February. Hard work, tracking calories, doing my cardio and strength excercises that is what it takes to get it done.

My Goals:
To get back to my healthy weight, I am not sure exactly what that is. I am aiming for 180 but it has been so long since I have been at that weight I am not sure it is possible.

My Program:
Eating between 1500 - 2000 calories per day. I am currently doing between 2.25 and 2.5 miles in 30 minutes on a treadmill, Monday thru Friday. Also doing core excercises Monday, Wednesday & Friday along with moderate upper body weight training on Tuesday and Thursday.

53 years old, married, 2 children 25,22 and a grandaughter.
