Better Late Than Never


What? I'm suppose to eat right AND exercise? You mean I need to do BOTH? Get out of town!!!! Why didn't someone tell me this before?

Well, better late than never, I suppose. I decided to change my life in 2012 and it has only gotten better and better every day. I have lost over 50 lbs., and I am more physically fit than I have ever been in my whole adult life. I'm still a work in progress, but thanks to the support I have on spark, I can reach my goals. I am sure of it! ...

Well, better late than never, I suppose. I decided to change my life in 2012 and it has only gotten better and better every day. I have lost over 50 lbs., and I am more physically fit than I have ever been in my whole adult life. I'm still a work in progress, but thanks to the support I have on spark, I can reach my goals. I am sure of it!

This is my life now. I am never going back to being unhealthy again. Yes, you can quote me on that!!!

My Goals:
I want to lose another 20 or 30 lbs. I want to be a positive role model for my children.

My Program:
 I am watching what I eat and trying to stick to a 1,500 calorie a day diet.

I love zumba, lifting weights and walking.

My name is Tina and I live in Southeastern PA. But I was born and raised on the beach of Wildwood, NJ. I'm married with 2 children.

Other Information:
 I love to read. My tastes vary. My favs are Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, The Secret Life of Bees, and Lonesome Dove.

My obsessions: Sushi, Brie cheese, Christmas music, Michael Kors, the beach, Prince, and my children.

    So, you really have no life and nothing better to do? Why don't I believe you. Your nose is growing, that's why.

    It sounds as though the parade was a wretched experience, but it was this one year only. I remember when your father-in-law died and this was a lovely way to honor him. If your sister-in-law is thinking of making this an annual event, no one is obligated; the dear girl is on her own. The gentleman wouldn't want anyone to be miserable.

    I have the fitbit one. I dont have the bracelet either. I use one of those cheap rubber bracelets, hook it on it, and go, I wear it everwhere! I dont care if people see it or not. Sometimes I get these looks like I am wearing a "just out of prison" tracking thing! lol My mom said I look like I am on a work release program! rotfl!!!!!

    Hey girl! I'm doing good - how about you? It's my week off so I'm getting a lot of work done in the house... trying to pack up a lot of the closets and knick knacks and stuff. Want the house to have a nice open feel when we get it listed. Will start painting soon (ugh!). So nice to have some warm days this week - whoohoo! However, the weather guy I follow said in 10 days or so we'll be having below record temps again. So unfair!!! Has Quinn started baseball yet? And how is Paige & her new guy?

    hahaha - that sounds super appealing (the going to lunch all sweaty & gross)! But yeah, check out the schedule when it comes out and let me know. As I said, I'm happy to make a fool of myself in front of you - yeah, good friend that I am :)
