    Definitely only weigh yourself once a week at the most, because your weight fluctuates day to day based off how much you ate, how much water you drink, and how much sodium you've had. Also, starting strength training tears your muscles and they retain water while they repair. Seeing the scale go up a couple of days in a row can be stressful, even though it doesn't really matter, so doing it once a week or less reduces the stress of seeing those daily fluctuations.
