After many years living in the Midwest, we've become gypsies! My hubby is retired and I'm a freelance writer, so we decided to try out different parts of the country. Fun! We're in Wilmington, North Carolina, for now. You might notice that I'm rather fond of dogs. :-) Cats, horses - animals! too. Also love to walk (long walks!) and ride my bike, paint, and I LOVE riding trains.

I lost 20 pounds three years ago, then got out of the walking habit and spent too much time on my butt ...

I lost 20 pounds three years ago, then got out of the walking habit and spent too much time on my butt meeting book deadlines - I've regained the 20 + 10 more :-( I'm determined now to lose 70 pounds and finally get my weight to where it should be. So, once again, here I am.

My Goals:
Weight: Overall goal - lose 70 pounds.

My Program:
 Track my food, stay within my calorie range, cardio 4-7 days a week, strength training 3 days a week, and add some form of stretching/yoga/whatever!


Personal Information:
Currently in Wilmington, NC; several places in Indiana; Reno, NV; DC area; and overseas.

Other Information:
 I'm an author, artist, photographer, dog-sport enthusiast, cat & horse lover.

    My girls say "thank you for your nice comments!". The painting done by Gypsy of the two horses is a digital painting. She said it was really fun and fast, she did it for a friend's birthday. The one with the girl w/antlers is a bookmark she designed for a school contest ~ which she won!
    The picture of the mermaid by Bambi is my favorite drawing of hers. I guess a lot of people really like that one, but it's not her favorite. I told her what you said about keeping on writing and she liked it!
    What they dream of doing is writing and illustrating books together, I think that would be emoticon

    Hi Sheila! After much trial and error. emoticon I was finally able to get my girls' artwork on my page. They are both members of an art website and my 17 yr. old goes by Gypsy and my 15 yr. old goes by Bambi so those are the names I used to label their artwork. They both looked at the pictures and artwork on your page and loved all of it. They are excited for you to see their stuff. When I told my 17 year old you were being a gypsy now she said, "I want to be a gypsy!" and that's her online name and she would like to live in Nevada or Wyoming and have lots of horses!
    Anyhow take a look at my page when you get a chance. And thanks for the goodie!

    Hi! I just wanted to say I love all of your dogs! Actually I love all of your pictures and paintings. I have always loved horses, and always wished I could have one. I have a 17 yr. old daughter who loves horses and started her artistic "career" drawing the horses that lived down the street from us. How nice for you that you get to see them on your walks.
    I want to be a gypsy too! It would be so awesome to visit all of the United States, there is so much beauty out there. I'd love to be able to travel the whole world, but first I need to win the Lottery or something!
