12.26.15 I recommitted to my new lifestyle after eating cornbread yesterday and feeling near death. Enough said.

12.11.15 Doing well...trying to get to 160 as a cushion only. I have been supporting others in their journey and that feels great. I have never ever been a size 8 ...I am actually happy here and don't feel a need to lose more. My health is great...I have energy and there's really nothing I cant do at this point. Grateful to God and my family that went on this journey with me. The sky is the limit and I am excited about it. Transformation is a process inside and out. Check out my b4 and afters ...theres one of Abdul too.

8.4.15 Update THE FACTS....I FEEL GREAT....I WENT FROM 214 TO 182 THIS MORNING SINCE MAY 4.15 OH i didn't realize this if a full 3 months...that is a total of 32 pounds....my beautiful husband has lost 33 pounds and he and mom started 5 days after me...mom was 196 i think and is now 177 that was Sunday before last Sunday didnt get to weigh her this past Sunday that's 19 pounds...my household has lost 84 pounds...if that is not success I do not know what it...For the first time, I can say I have had the full support of my family/household and that is why I feel so successful and happy today. We made this lifestyle change together and each of us has a better quality of life. I am a wheat belly fan. Taking wheat out of my system changed my life. On 5.4.15 started wheat free diet this time with the entire family. Everyone has lost some weight...I lost 9 in 7 days...and today I am at 10 pounds lost. Feeling much better and that is all that matters.


11.10.14 I kept gaining after the wedding and in July I thought ....ok enough is enough. So I have lost about 23 pounds since then. I am working on getting about 12 more lbs off. At that point, I will decide if I lose anymore. I am using Spark On 5.4.15People to track food and fitness. Thankful for all the upgrades.



9.4.12 Ok I think I cam back in may for a week...LOL Thanks to the Sparkpeople for Grace. I need this site to track my food as it has been a consistent form of success for me. So here I am again...getting married in May of 2012 and need to get the HAPPY weight that I gained off before the big day!

5.2.12 Wow its been a mintue since I have been here. And how my life has taken some major turns. Well who knew that HAPPY could bring on 14 pounds....so I am back up but I am not going to gain one more pound. So I will do a starting weight Monday of next week. And then I will know exactly what my goal is. I didnt do all that hard work to gain it back. So here I am today using the site to track my calories protien and fat. I did good today. Cant wait to eat dinner. Then water till bedtime. So I said before I would post new pics...that pic to the left was taken in December...I have many more and will post soon. 160-165 is where I want to be.


1.24.12 Well its a new year and I have returned because I see the need to journal my food again after gaining about 5 pounds ....this time I am doing it with my LOVE ABDUL after he gained a few too. So I see I have a lot to update on my page for those who care...LOL ..Honestly, this is my therapy meaning I do this for me not for anyone else. The journal on Spark Page is a very good tool if we use it. I am thankful for my life health and strength. I am sitting her watching President Obama...and I just think to myself I never thought I would ever live to see a Black Man as President. I am greatful for that ..it shows that we have come a mighty long way as the old folks say. Oh my new goal is to lose 25 pounds which should take me down to 160. And I am happy to report I was taken off of HBP medication in August of 2011 after passing out...LOL I just bumped my head a lil ...Im good!!! Will post new pics soon.

6-1-11 Sorry I dont update as often. Life has been challenging, exciting, and just plain good overall. I got a new job that I am hoping to begin soon. I met a new friend that I really like but not sure what will happen...u know how that goes. I want to concentrate more on my weightloss...my family dr. wants me to get to 180! Thats 20 pounds and then no more hbp medicine.

2013 and 2014 U began gaining more and more. I had issues with my Vitamin D but its November 10 and all blood work is normal again. Trying cortisol supplement with Relora currently to address belly fat. Ill let you know how that goes.
