Hey everyone! My name is Korie and I'm 18. I'm trying to slim down for college. I want to be a teacher or a journalist. I'm going to the local college in the city I've grown up in, a Chicago suburb. After this year, I plan on going to North Western. I want to be a teacher, or a journalist.

I work at the YMCA and am finally taking advantage of me free membership. I want to avoid gaining more weight once I'm in college, and I also have quite a bit to lose.
***I'm at 205 now. About a year ago I was at 175. Before that, I weighed 215 but got down to 175 in a year, without even trying. While my goal weight is 130-145, I'd love to get down to 175 again.***

My Goals:
**Lose 77lbs
9/22- down 30!

**Run a nine minute mile
9/22 Currently run around 10:30...down from 14!

**Wear a size 6
9/22 Currently at a size 13 down from 17...

**Stop eating while out with friends
9/22 Only buy tea instead of coffee, still struggling with going out to eat

**Be more confident
9/22 Absolutely!

**Exercise vigorously 4 days a week
9/22 I had it for a while, lost it, and am back on track!




My Program:
1. Eat 1300-1700 calories per day, eat at least 3 servings of vegetables a week, and eat no fast food at all.



2. Work out 4 times a week, burning 400 calories each time. 30 minutes on the eliptical, generally.



3. Pray before eating anything. This should accomplish two things. It will strengthen my prayer life and relationship with the lord, and it will make me stop and think about what's entering my body.



4. General physical upkeep. Make sure to floss when I brush my teeth, do something with my hair each day, not just put it in a messy ponytail. Stop waiting a day too long to shave, wear clothes that actually fit, remember to use moistuerizer every day, etc. Stuff that I generally do, some obvious, but should be more diligent about.
