Hi I’m Katherine,

Being overweight or the big girl has always been a part of my life and I have reached a point where it’s just not going to be anymore. My 28th birthday will be coming up in April and I want more than anything to not dodge the camera and when I see pictures of myself I want to like them instead of cringing at the sight. Now that I have covered the vanity part of it the health part is very important, both of my parents are facing pre-diabetes which makes me all the more prone to this disease as well as my kids this is not the way I want to go so it is time for a huge change. I am ready, this is the most important thing to me other than my kids, I don’t care about being in a relationship or dating this is a main priority now. I have a buddy, I love reading my spark friends stories of success to stay encouraged and I am so ready for this!

I was about to move up to a size 22 my 20s were getting way to tight now they are getting to be very loose!

My Goals:
1.To love how I look.
2.To be able to buy jeans anywhere!
3.Feel good wearing a swim suit.
4.Be healthy.

A goal I aiming for right now is to be at least one dress smaller for my birthday April 30th

My Program:
Food- I am eating an average of under 1400 calories. I am allowed 1550 but I like to leave that extra as a buffer if maybe I miss something.
I have been very good about marking down EVERYTHING that I eat, I think this is really important for keeping me honest =0)
Today (1/2/13) is my one week mark and I will be starting my exercising tonight. I chose to give myself a week of getting the hang of eating under 1400 cals before I started.
So I have a staionary bike that I will be using 6x a week, I will be using core secrets for my weight training.
Drinking lots of water!
