I have struggled with food all my life. I want to be fit and strong so that I can live a happy and healthy life with my family.

I have failed in the past because I have focused on how much weight I have to lose and obsessed about how long it will take me. Despite the fact that it has taken me 42 years to get to this weight I want to be thin tomorrow.

I am changing how I think and focussing only on those things I can control, that is, my healthy eating and my exercise regime. Time will pass and if I focus on those things then I will arrive at the day when I am strong, fit and beautiful.

I copied the quote below from someone's comment on a page because it sums up how I feel.

"Don't let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use."

Goal 2: Become a strong woman who is fit and healthy.

Goal 3: Become a runner.

Goal 4: learn not to act on destructive thoughts.

60 minute interval walking every day.

20 minutes strength training every day.

Follow a healthy eating plan.
