If Dogs Could Just Teach Us These Things:

1. When loved ones come home always run to greet them.

2. Fresh air and wind in your hair is ecstasy.

3. Take naps and stretch before rising..

4. Run, romp and play daily.

5. Avoid biting when a growl will do.

6. Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

7. Be loyal.

8. Never pretend to be something you are not.

9. If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

10. When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close to them, and nuzzle them gently.

My Goals:
To be fit and healthy, and NOT have to wear "Plus-Sized" clothes!

My Program:
Fall 3,245,112 times, get up 3,245,113 times.

I eat no processed food, no sugar, no grains.

I also use a Fitbit to track my activity.

Personal Information:
I'm a self-indulgent emotional binge volume eater and have been most of my life.

I am right on the cusp of being a full-blown diabetic, and I am following a paleo way of eating to manage my disease. I am insulin resistant, my triglycerides are extremely high, and my liver enzymes are also high. Not to mention high blood-pressure. I either manage this or I die. It's that simple.

And my plan is simple. No processed food. No sugar. No grains.

I want to renew my passion for Kettlebells, as I am convinced that they are the key to a healthy and fit rest of my life.

I'm a young 57. I'm married to a super supportive man who cooks for me but does not follow the same way of eating, which is a challenge. I've got two grown kids who both live on their own.

I have three very beloved Bernese Mountain Dogs; Sophie, Faith and Max. Max recently joined our family as our first foster dog...and we were almost immediately "foster failures".

    Tess! I was just thinking about you the other day. I started a challenge group on Facebook similar to the one we did on ediets all those eons ago! All I did was make a calendar but I was thinking MAN I need the skills of TESS! It took me forever. Quite a few of the old challenge peeps have joined as well. Starts on Feb. 15th. Not sure if you are on Facebook but wanted to let you know. ;-D
