It's been a long journey, full of highs and lows. I've re-started so many times I refuse to look at this as another re-start.

I got down to under 170 lbs Christmas 2015. In February of 2016 I met a man and at first we encouraged each other and I at least didn't gain any weight back for a time, but ultimately I realize now that it was too soon to get into a relationship and we started enabling each other and backsliding - after we broke up I emotionally ate my way back to over 210 lbs. I realized what I was doing just in time to head back to Onederland.... thank goodness!

Now it's March 31st, 2018 and I recently had a health scare and very stressful year so far - stress ate my way back up to 199.6 lbs last week!! I was determined not to go over the 200 lb mark again, so I got back on track and I'm back down to 189.6 lbs. Whew!

I'm determined to quit yo-yoing and get down to a healthy weight this year in spite of myself! I've got to find other ways to deal with stress besides eating comfort foods. I've joined a new gym and plan to eat healthier... ummm... a LOT healthier. lol

There's really no secret to it. We all know what to do, it's just the doing that creates the issues. ;-) So I'm here to help and encourage any way I can and I really appreciate the support I've gotten from my Spark Friends over the years. I claim this year! This is my year to get healthy and fit! Who's with me?

My Program:
I've joined a gym and enjoy going 5-6 times a week usually in the mornings before work. I do mostly strength training but I get in a bit of cardio as well.

My diet is 40% Protein, 40% Carbs & 20% Fat. I'm using the tracker mostly to keep my macros in balance but also to make sure I keep my portions in control as well. 1,200 to 1,400 calories per day depending on how hard I work out that day.
