Glad you're going to check out the pool thing; hope it works out. If your pain persists, perhaps you should check it out with your doctor.

I just noticed the wonderful comment you left on one of my blog entries! I guess that shows you the last time I was on here! Thank you so much for your support! I am trying to get back on the healthy horse once again! I also noticed you have a beautiful bulldog...I love the breed and aspire to have one someday soon!

I too had a lot of foot pain. I ended up at a foot doc and mine was a weird bone spur. It was tearing my achilles tendon. I wore a cast for most of one winter. What a pain but oh so worth it! I walk a lot at school and for exercise. I even run now. (not as much as I would like to but have run a few 5k's)I hope you can get into a foot doc mine is great andyou will find out what the heck is going on. Good luck and keep your chin up!

If your foot is bothering you that much, then I say, "Go for it!" Contact your doc and see if you could get a referral to a foot specialist...

Many years ago, I was so heavy that I stepped kinda funny on the sidewalk, stepping down and all of a sudden I could barely walk. I went to the docs over and over and over. They took all types of Xrays and all, nothing ever showed up. Eventually the doc fessed up and told me that I had a hairline fracture where my toes met the foot...the metatarsal, I believe he called it. Eventually it healed on its own, but it took a lot of time. But then, I was almost 50 pounds heavier than I am now!
