Well, It's been three years since starting my journey and I have accomplished so much but sometimes life gets in the way. I met a wonderful man and I've enjoy him so much that I forgot what I was trying to accomplish. So now that I've settled down, it is time to get back on the wagon. I'm restarting my journey at 257 lbs! I didn't gain all of my previous weight back but certainly most of it. Again, I will be checking in weekly to show my progress. I will be incorporating some different things into my exercise regimen this time around: Dance Central (Kinect), Tennis, Kettlebells, and as usual spinning, weights, and Step Aerobics. Pray for me!

After 18 years of being overweight, I've finally decided to do soomething about it. It started with a gym membership and some small changes to my diet and I am officially down 20 lbs! - created 4/9/09

I'm still hanging in there. I've lost another 17 pounds with the help of spark people. - created 5/31/09

I thought it would be a good idea to start tracking my weight loss weekly. So far, I have lost around 43 lbs. Sundays will be my official weigh-in day. (6/21/09)

6/21/09 - 227.4
6/28/09 - 224.0 (-3.4 LBS)
7/5/09 - Out of town...I've probably gained.
7/12/09 - Out of town...I know I've gained.
7/19/09 - 229.2 Retaining water because of TOM but I think I've gained 2-3 pounds while out of town. Not so bad. I am starting fresh today!
7/26/09 - 224.4 Got back on track this week! Almost back to pre vacation weight! I can't wait to get out of the 220's. (-4.8lbs)

Total Weight Loss - July 2009 = +.4lbs

8/2/09 - 222.0 Down 2lbs. I was hoping for more but two pounds is great! Soon I will be out of the 220s! (-2lbs)
8/9/09 - 221.0 WTH! I worked my buns off this week. Oh well. Hopefully next week I will see larger numbers on the scale. (-1 lbs).
8/16/09 - 221.4 Retaining some water so I'm not really that concerned. (+.04lbs)
8/23/09 - 218.0 WOO HOO! I'm feeling great. Largest one week loss in a while. I changed my workout regimen and got more rest this week. My body was pooped! (-3.4 lbs)
8/30/09 - 215.8 I haven't seen this number in 5 years! I'm very excited and proud of myself. 210's here I come! (-2.2lbs)

Total Weight Loss - August = 8.6lbs

9/6/09 - 214.4 Not horrible but I lost inches this week! Still excited about entering the 210s. (-1.4lbs)
9/13/09 - 212.8. A loss! This week I decided to listen to my body and take some days off from training. Even with this, I've still lost so I'm happy. I'll pick up my exercise routine again on Tuesday. (-1.6lbs)
9/20/09 - 211.2. I'm doing the happy dance! I'm almost out of the 2-teens! To speed up the process this week, I'm going to try to stay away from bread/rice and see how that works. Also, restarted my exercise routine and took it pretty slow this week and I still lost. Pretty good week! (-1.6lbs)
9/27/09 - 210.8 I didn't exactly stay away from the carbs last week. Oh well, I still lost a little. (-.6lbs)

Total Weight Loss - September: 5lbs

10/4/09 - Missed this week (sorry)!
10/11/09 - 206.4! Not bad. I thought that I would be a little over 205 this week but my parents are in town which means a lot of eating out! I missed one complete day of exercise and two workouts to accomodate my parents. So not so bad. (-4.4lbs in two weeks).
11/1/09 - 203.6 I tried to stop weighing in so often so I wouldn't get discouraged!

Total Weight Loss - October - -7.2lbs! Pretty good!

11/15/09 - Early Christmas present! Onederland! Currently 198lbs. I don't ever remember being under 200lbs. Such an awesome motivator! (5.6lbs in two weeks).

12/20/09 - 194.8 today! Still losing and enjoying to process so much. 180's here I come! (-3.2lbs).

My Goals:
4/20/09 - Lose 30 pound before my trip to Chicago in July! I know I can do this. -

5/31/09 Lose 15 pounds by July - Reward: Wii and EA Active - Acheived this goal but the money is just not there. :(

Lose another 15 pounds by the time I return to work in August - Reward: Heavy Bag and Boxing Gloves!

Lose another 50 Pounds by Christmas - Reward: A Treadmill! (rethinking this reward)

Goal: Trip to Las Vegas next February wearing a bikini or some other skimpy outfit confidently!

My Program:
Cardio - 45-1hr six days a week. Usually incline training on the treadmill. I've just started using the Arc Trainer - LOVE IT!

Strength Training 3 days a week. Group Power class at Gold's Gym
