Introduction Text Over 40 and trying to stay healthy and fit.

Run a mile in under 10 minutes. (Met 7/10/09) Run three miles in 30 minutes. (Met 8/22/09) Finish nursing school! (Met 2/1/10) Get my BSN (Met 8/1/12) Lose 40 pounds by Sept 2013 (Working on it!) Make healthy choices every day.(Working on it!)

Go to the gym 3 days a week for at least 40 minutes of cardio. Working with a trainer 2 days a week. Walking the dog every day. Consuming 1200 calories a day.

I am 47 years old and trying once again to get back in shape. I recently got married, earned my BSN and started a new job. While all of this was happening I packed on 40 pounds without even realizing it. It is time to make changes!

I love to read and learn. I enjoy going to the gym and working out. My favorite things to do for exercise are running and lifting weights. I also like yoga.
