I started reading the YNY book this summer, and handed it over to my husband. He jumped right in and in a few short months he has lost all the weight he needs to and is physically doing things that surprise both of us.

On the other hand, I read the booked, but barely even dipped my toe in. I'm not sure what I was waiting for, but I'm going the wrong direction! On February 2, that all changed. I got myself into the BodPod at my gym, and for the first time in black and white saw my fat percentages lined up in the "at risk for medical issues" column. My husband, on the other hand, is on his way to the "elite athelete" column, so I'm jumping in! I want to be younger next year! I want to keep up with my husband, and I want my family to be proud of me. I don't want my weight and lack of fitness to keep me from what I love and want to do - EVER! I hope to find a Younger Next Year group here, but if not, I might just have to start one.
