I have two children. I have a ton of stress, just like everyone else on this earth, I'm sure. I have lost weight in the past and have put it back on, but I've never dieted healthy. It was always a fad diet of some sort. I enoy this site immensely. Spark is very motivational and supportive, and I foresee myself doing well with this change in lifestyle (rather than a diet). Wish me luck!

My Goals:
My goals are:
1. Be healthy without the need of medication! I've already come off several pills, including a water pill :)

2. Be able to be active with my children and keep up with them! If that's even possible!

3. Help my self confidence and boost my self esteem.

4. Dodge the Diabetes bug that's rampant in my family!

My Program:
My plan is to keep my calories between 1300-1500 a day. I've committed myself to going to the gym at least 3 times a week, and on the days I don't go, I am going to try to find time to walk.

Personal Information:
I am originally from St. Louis, MO. I now live just outside of Memphis, TN and am a southern girl by heart, city raised. I love going to the lake every summer, fishing, swimming... I'm beginning to enjoy working out as well.

Other Information:
I love it here, the south is awesome! I love, love, love the lake and cannot wait for lake season to arrive. I also love to read, especially Chelsea Handler. She may be vulgar but she's funny.

    Happy Birthday! I waited and waited so I could say it on the actual day despite all the early wishes you were getting..and then yesterday I just wasn't at my computer much at all!!

    I hope things are going great for you and the family since we have not heard fdrom ou in a while. happy sparking we can do this. the trail gets roughtr at time for all of us. now that I have done m,y share of mindless eating today i am writing notes to my Spark can't break my rule no eating at the computer. off to the gym in tern minutes let us know how things are going

    Thanks for the encouragement and concern. emoticon I'm glad that I proved to myself that I can do it...but not so happy that I pulled a muscle. My acupuncturist is going to lecture me the entire time he turns me into a pin cushion. LOL He's awesome though and has been mentoring me through this. The reward for being a pincushion though will be a lot less pain to no pain!

    Congrats on the weight loss. Nice to see you in good spirits and seeing that shining light at the end of the tunnel! Keep it burning my friend!
