    Hi,
I just saw your post from last week about being scared of heart rate monitors. I just wanted to let you know you're not alone with having a really high heart rate. My resting heart rate is relatively normal but when I work out it sky rockets. I've talked to my doc and he says not to worry about it I've been like this all my life. I got a polar F11 it has a chest strap and you can wear it and do a fit test with it on and it calibrates to your own heart rate. It also transmits to most cardio machines so if you're running you don't have to slow down to hold onto the handles to get your heart rate. It keeps track of your calories and also what percent of those calories were fat based on how much time your heart rate was in 'the fat burning zone' I love it and don't know how I ever worked out without it before. I highly recomend it!

    Hi!

I tried two military pushups and fell flat on my face. I was surprised that I couldn't do even one. I just couldn't hold up my body weight. Any recommendations? Thanks again for your kind advice on the Determination & Accountability Pushups challenge thread! ~Ann

Thanks for the vegetarian warning...I too thought that as long as I am in my calorie/carb/fat/protein ranges I'm good. I hadn't even considered iron! So glad you mentioned that! Maybe I should go out and get a big double cheeseburger to make sure. Joking!
