Introduction Text Hi. I have been up and down on the scale my whole life. In the past few years I have been successful at losing about 50 pounds. Alas, I have now gained 25 of them back. I am looking forward to success now that I have found SP.

I have reached 176 lbs recently and decided I never want to be in the 170's again. I will track my daily calorie intake. I intend to exercise 6 days a week. I will do minimum 4 days of cardio and two days of strength training. I also intend to read motivating article 3X a week. :)

I have started tracking my daily meals in order to stay within daily recommended totals. Secondly I have started exercising every day. I try to get in 25 min. on my elliptical or 60 minutes on my stationary bike. I can read while I bike so that makes it extra fun!

My name is Patti and I live in Florida. I love exercising especially in the winter months when the weather is wonderful for that sort of thing. I especially like long walks early in the morning. Right now I am into biking and stretching.

I still like the old classic movie Chariots of Fire. It makes me want to exercise!. I currently am reading Daniel Steele's novel THE DEFECTOR. This book has nothing about exercise but a lot about doing what you must not what you want. My favorite quote applied to eating is: "It is not how well you start your day but how well you finish it that counts!"
