I am a mom to a boy who is 12 y.o. and a daughter who is 14 y.o. and i have been married 21 years already (feels like yesterday). Both kids participate in competitive sports so we are constantly on the go. I also work part time but my priority is my family.

I have always felt inadequate due to my weight. I have allowed that to dictate how i felt about myself. I don't want this to continue. I have been on Spark now for over 3 months. I have never recorded my food or any activity longer than a week so recording my food and activity for over 3 months is amazing for me. Have I lost a lot of weight since starting? - NO. That's ok. I now have identified my triggers and I now know what i need to do to get where I need to go.

1. Organize my kitchen to incorporate the tools i need and minimize temptations.
2. Meal Plan - including the kids and hubby. Open freezer space.
3. Exercise plan - 5-6 days/week.
4. Id. triggers and replace with positive behaviours. i.e. what to do while watching t.v.?

My longer term goal: 40 lb weight loss.
Medium term goal: 10 lb/month approximately - 2 lbs/week
January 30, 2017 - 10 lbs
February 28, 2017 - 10 lbs
March 30, 2017 - 10 lbs
April 30, 2017 - 10 lbs.


My Program:
Each day - 7 days/week - 30 minute walk first thing in the morning.
Monday/Wednesday - 8 to 9 pm - workout with my friends using weights
Tuesday/Thursday - 30 minute HIIT with trainers
Friday - workout dvd - i.e. Jillian Michaels - 30-60 minute

Meal plan - each week created to follow along with making meals with kids.



Personal Information:
I turned 47 in November 2016.
I love to read.
I have an issue about exercising. I was raised to think as exercise as a luxury not a necessity so i will put work over exercise. It takes a lot of energy for me to think otherwise. I will make it a priority.
I love dogs but won't have one until i am home - we are never home as a family.
i always put others before myself - need to change that.
i love shopping but don't feel good about myself even if i wear the clothes. i will change that once i start really applying my changes.
i love to weight lift but again getting myself to do that.
