    Glad my comment didn't come off as too harsh. I know sometimes type comes out with a little more edge than intended. I just want you to know that you're not alone, and that I believe in you.

    I wasn't necessarily saying you should quit the competition. Continue to weigh in because you need to, but you don't need to compare yourself to everyone else. It's just too crazy of a time for you to be doing that.

    I know trying to eat evenly has really helped me keep from feeling deprived. So if that's what you need, you should do it.

    And, yeah, I think it's emotionally unhealthy for you to skip social events because of the food. But if this one is going to stress you out with your travel downstate, then it makes sense to skip it. You don't need to overload yourself.
