Hey Spark Friends:)
I have had a Spark People account for about 5 years now but I decided to start fresh in 2012 after going through a break up, moving out of my apartment, family losses and so on in 2011. I want to make my future years great and to start that I want to get healty! My name is Sarah, I am 25-years old and have a 5-year old son. My goals are to lose weight, get my body into a healthy BMI range, and exercise regularly.

My 20 Reasons to Lose Weight
1. So I can feel good about myself
2. To be active when I'm outside with my son
3. So my joints don't hurt when I get up in the morning
4. For baseball!
5. You never know who you are going to meet and when and I want to feel confident
6. So I can feel confident jogging
7. For my little black dress that I haven't worn in awhile but i lovee
8. When I go skiing I wont be embarrassed when I have to give my weight and for roller-coasters!
9. To be healthy and in a healthy BMI range
10. So my son wont feel embarrassed by me as he grows up
11. So I wont feel embarrassed by me as I grow older
12. I want to be able to anything I want to without my weight or health holding me back
13. I want to feel not only comfortable but confident on the beach in a bathing suit
14. I want to be able to shop at all the stores I love again and fit into all my clothes
15. I want to live a loooong, happy and fulfilled life
16. I want to take more pictures than just head shots of myself
17. I was one of the fat girls in the last couple years of public school, middle school, sometimes in high school..but no more of that
18. So I can have energy
19. So I can be one of those girls I look at now and say "I want a body like hers"
20. To prove to myself I can do it and I can do anything

When I hit my highest weight (250 LBS!! :O) in 2011, I made a vow to myself never to feel that way again. I was ashamed of myself, embarrassed, depressed, and angry that I let that happen. I was sabotaging my own happiness for things I wanted in that moment. From January 2012-May 2012 I lost 50lbs. I have been stuck in an up and down plateau since then but I know that it is a life long journey and I will have to face obstacles along the way before I make it to where I want to be.

My Goals:
Lose enough weight to be in a healthy BMI range. I want to exercise regularly (I tend to be lazy) but I love to play the Just Dance games for the Wii and I want to keep on track with healthy eating using my food journal! I go to the gym a few times a week and try to walk/jog at night on the days I dont go, and sometimes even when I do :)

My Program:
I am eating healthy, exercising regularly, and keeping a food diary. I also try to go outside as much as possible! I play baseball every Wednesday night and I also go to the gym and play Just Dance 3.

My name is Sarah. I am 25-years old and from Ontario, Canada. I have a 5-year old son who keeps me very busy. I am working casually as a Personal Support Worker and I am working my way toward going back to school for Nursing.
