Hi, my name is Janet and I'm a 48yr old stay at home wife. After losing 80 lbs several years ago I now find myself having gained 30 of it back. Mostly that's due to finding myself happily re-married rather than in very unhappy marriage that led to my focusing so much attention to exercise and weight loss before. It was my escape. Unhappy and don't want to go home? Go for a walk. Don't want to deal with issues at home? Get on my elliptical. I would lose myself in music and daydreams of being thin, pretty and happy as I got sweaty.

Anyway, I don't have that desire to escape anymore. I'd rather sit on the couch watching tv with my DH and eat ice cream out of the container with him. That, and no more exercise, led to weight gain, which led to being unhappy with myself as I once more found myself buying bigger clothes.. which of course has led to soothing myself with food.

My wonderful hubby has just given me the Nordic Track Incline Trainer that Jillian Michaels (my hero!) endorses, as well as her Power Walking iFit cards. My goal is to lose 27 lbs.

My ultimate goal is to get back into my skinny clothes, but I'd be happy at this point just to see some weight start dropping off!

My Program:
Tracking my food and making sure I get enough water and sleep. Not perfect on it yet, but dang close *smile*

I've finally started walking again and have been ranging 5-8 miles of very hilly country roads.

    Oh hang in there!! I've been sinking a little too binging (a little I want to say). I really don't know because I'm too stressed to look. lol.
    Lots of life changes happening here that is not giving me time to make my daily menus which is making me make bad decisions through out the day. Mostly not eating enough and too much when I do...

    Let's get back on track together!
    What's bothering you?

    I'm trying to meditate and focus on what my body really needs and making a list of changes that need to be made. I pray a lot too. But am basically nibbling at big changes that need to be made.

    Remember to think of 1 good thing you did each day. Even if it is so small (or seems small). You are getting better and growing stronger each day. Think of the good and hold on to it. Even with a lot of bad there is always something good.. seek it out and hold on to it and then get more. (not cookies though. hehe).
