I have recently realized that although I understand that no one person can accomplish it all and that everyone has their own limits to what they can do that I have never applied that to myself.
I have always been a do it all. I have worked at least full time since HS and have been working on a degree BA now that I have an AA, in the past two years I even went and upgraded from part time school to full time. I have two side businesses (handmade gifts and wedding/event planning) and most importantly am married. This past December my husband and I decided to buy a house which we chose specifically because it is structurally sound but needs cosmetic work, just what I wanted a house I can really make my own. It didn't take long before I realized that this craziness is sending me to an early grave caused by my overeating and emotional eating habits.

My relationship is more important then that so As of Monday when everyone else was starting school, I was dropping all of my classes with a sigh of relief. Heck, there is plenty of life left to work on more degrees. I'm still working with my side businesses but now instead of being up all night doing it I can work after hubby goes to bed and still get to bed by 11!

I have also decided to take on the "A Complaint Free World" challenge and am reading the Proper Care and Feeding of Marriages with hubby as I think that I can use some positivity in my life.

My goal is to change my lifestlye to that of a overall more healthy one. I want to be able to know that I have a strong healthy foundation to teach my future children to do the same.

I am changing my eating habits and adding more physical activities into my life.

    wow, you are really doing good at this weight lose thing! Looks like we have about the same amount of weight to lose, do you have any tips? What have you been doing to lose the weight so far?

    You are so right in deciding to wait until you felt you were really ready to lose weight. There's no sense in starting when you're not ready because then all that happens is one gets frustrutated. If you are truly ready and have your mind set on it now, you'll make it happen. Don't be discouraged if the process takes some time, the longer it takes the smaller the chance that you will gain any of the weight back.

    For some reason I never thought to measure my thigh...it would make sense. I've been tracking inch loss off of my neck, waist and hips...looks like I will add arms and legs since I am more prone to do that than step on a scale.
