Well, I decided to re-do this intro altogether. I've fallen off the wagon, jumped back on, only to fall off again, but miss the whole bloody trail, too! lol

I've decided that I need to make a radical lifestyle change, and go from working in a sedentary office to becomming a Registered Massage Therapist!!! This is a 2200 hour intense course here in Canada, and if nothing else, standing in a semi-squat or semi-lunge position, or moving between them for hours on end is going to give me KILLER thighs!!!! lol Simply for self-preservation I need to live a healthier lifestyle and lose some of this bloody extra baggage!

So, here I go again!

I'm really looking forward to getting back at this again - I managed to lose 35 pounds before, and only re-gained 5, so if I can lose another 30 pounds or so this season, that would be AMAZING!!! :D

My immediate goal is to strengthen my knees and frame so I don't murder myself at school! lol

THEN, I want to start shrinking again!

I'll set up a goal for weight loss once I tighten and tone!

My Program:
I'm eating in a healthy way to improve insulin sensitivity and I'm trying to increase my exercise by walking to school every day, and I'm also joining the YMCA so I can start working out, too. I'm also working back up to 2,000 mg/day of Metformin - this improves my insulin sensitivity so that I can actually lose weight with the nutrition and activity.

    Thanks for your Congrats! I am nearly 20 weeks and still in shock! LOL! I have lost more than I have gained at this point-even if I look like a Weeble Wobble! emoticon

    I am trying to stay healthy so I can pick up where I left off after delivery. Lord knows that my losses have taken forever and been hard enough as it is!

    Hi there... thanks so much for commenting on my blog. I myself am not following with the dr to make sure I am Ovulating....... I am on the Metformin and tomorrow , I will attempt another diet again. this time Im sticking to the journals and coming on and using my Spark more.

    I've discovered that student life doesn't help a lot with lifestyle changes! lol

    I've managed to stay even, though - and that's a breakthrough on it's own!

    I do burn about 2500 - 3000 calories per week, just with the massages I do at school. I try to watch what I'm eating, and I'm usually OK at that. Once I'm not stuck at a desk for 8 hours most days, then I'm sure I'll burn some more.

    From what my teachers have said to me, it's pretty common for students who have physical issues, etc. to struggle to maintain while a student, but often they start gaining good ground once they graduate.

    This is a radical change, though - and one I am SO happy I'm doing!!! I LOVE MASSAGE THERAPY!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon
