BLC 28 challenge has started again and I'm so excited to be a Groovy Gecko again. I can already tell this is going to be the best round yet!The support, motivation and inspiration I know I'll receive is just what I need to reach my goal.

Hi, I'm 50 years old, I'm married, mother of 2 active boys. I've lost weight many times before only to gain it back over and over and over again. This time is going to be different. My goal is to be healthy not just to lose weight.

I�ve been on SP for 3 years and in that time I�ve lost 80 pounds. I have gained back about 25 lbs and am looking to lose that during this challenge. I realize that the changes I�ve made are lifetime changes and as long as I continue eating right and exercising I will get to my goal.

My Goals:
I was at goal for a little while but have slowly gained back about 15 lbs. My goal now is to reach my goal weight and maintain it by tracking my food and exercise. I also am pushing my self farther in strength training.


My Program:
I am measuring my food and eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I'm also exercising. Before work I do Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, Kettlebells or run/walk 2 miles and walk 2 miles at lunch, 5 days of week.



Personal Information:
I grew up in Upstate NY but have lived in the Charlotte, NC area for 22 years. I just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary in June and I have two boys and 3 dogs. We enjoy camping, boating and Geocaching.

I too am still pretty new to SP, I started in January 2011, I have met so many wonderful people/ SparkFriends on here.     I'm so glad then that you found my page! I hope you enjoy Spark People and you find it as helpful as I did! Enjoy the Zumba videos too! They don't all work anymore but you can search the song name with "Zumba" if you want to look for them!

    Thank you for your suggestions! I already get up at 5:00 am, I wish I could get up early and exercise, but 5:00 bout does it for my earliest! I do get in about 10 minutes of yoga tho.
