I am 36 years old, am married, have a 6 year old daughter and a 5 year old son. I have struggled with my weight since I was about 12.

I really want to get my eating under control, and exercise regularly. I want to feel good about myself, teach my children healthy habits, and I want to have the energy to keep up with them.

I have lost and gained the same 50 pounds multiple times over the last few years. I'm tired of the roller coaster!

Here are my goals:

[ ] reach weight of 210 lbs
[ ] reach weight of 200 lbs
[ ] reach weight of 190 lbs
[ ] reach weight of 180 lbs
[ ] reach weight of 170 lbs
[ ] reach weight of 160 lbs
[ ] fit into my favourite blue jacket
[ ] jog 5k without stopping
[ ] be able to comfortably cross my legs
[ ] be able to comfortably step dance for a 3 minute song
[ ] have my stomach measure smaller than my chest
[ ] finish the entire "No More Trouble Zones" DVD with no modifications or breaks

I am SO glad that I've joined SparkPeople. It is the best tool I've found for getting motivated and staying on track. I've met some great friends here, and look forward to meeting more.

Low Carb High Fat (LCHF / Keto)

"Such a Pretty Fat" by Jen Lancaster is a great chic lit book for any women trying to lose weight. It made me laugh out loud. :)

    I've been worried about you, but I see that you tracked your food today. I hope that means that you are doing well (overall...not just whether you are eating right and tracking).

    I haven't made your checklist sheets up for myself yet, but I really need to do that. I had a couple of bad weekends in a row, but I think I'm back on track again now.
