We both LOVE to eat and our waistlines reflect it too. We are in our fifties but believe in being young at heart. We have taken the vegetarian plunge as of May 17, 2009. Here's hoping it is a great adventure! My husband, two cats, one dog and I live in a kind of Florida forest called a 'hardwood hammock' where stuff grows fast and tall. We bought a unique old house on a couple of acres and have enjoyed (mostly lol) the adventure of fixing it up. Apart from my physical unfitness and a few unrelated health challenges, my life is a surprisingly happy, peaceful and abundant one. I'm grateful too since it very much was not always so.

My goal is to improve my physical health.

Consume three balanced meals at day, aiming for under 500 calories each and walk a half mile after every meal to help aid digestion.

When I'm not helping my owner-operator trucker hubby, I'm restoring this old house, working in the yard or reading.

I am a bit of a friendly loner, preferring the company of pets and my beloved. This isn't to slight any other human. It's just with them I'm always guaranteed WYSIWYG. It's our human capacity for duplicity that sadly complicates life.
