Today is September 9th, 2019. It has been a very long time since I've been on SP. And apparently if you're inactive long enough, they revoke all your Spark Points! I guess I get to start over and watch them climb again. 😊 Hello everyone! 🙂

Fitness Minutes: 16,131

My Goals:
My goal is to get in better shape overall so that I have more energy, get my borderline high cholesterol in check, and feel good about my body. I will tone up my muscles, increase my flexibility, and improve my endurance for cardio. I would love to be a runner, but in the past any attempts have failed. I am taking it slow and trying to work my way up to it this time.

I will drastically improve my eating habits and get more fruits and veggies in my diet, more calcium and iron, and reduce the sodium, sugar, and fat. I've only realized since tracking my foods on SparkPeople that I also don't get nearly enough protein. So that's one more thing I'll be keeping an eye on.

I'm still working on a program that will work for me.



Personal Information:
My name is Melissa, and I am a 41 year old in South Carolina. I have an adventurous spirit, but am also quite cautious and timid, so I don't get to act on my dreams as often as I'd like. I know being in better shape physically will help me feel more confident about reaching for my dreams, especially since so many of the things on my bucket list are physical in nature. I would LOVE to go to Scotland one day. I like to imagine myself being in fantastic shape and being able to hike both the West Highland Way AND the Great Glen Way.

    OK, so girl get a GOYAAM plan on ur page. Just a lil something to let us know what u are working on & implementing for the month of November. It is always great to have some short term goals down, it doesn't have to be complicated. It can be as simple as taking the steps instead of the elevator!! Also a wonderful way for us to show our support as well!!

    We have some team goals I hope u decided to join as well!!!!!!!! All you have to do is track them!! We got tons of threads, yup...TONS OF THEM for motivation and other things like challenges. Couch 2 5K, Crunches, 100 Push Ups, Calories Burned/Fitness minutes...
