I am teaching myself a new way to live. I joined in December 2009 and I have bounced back and forth quite lazily for longer than I ever should have! I am making the decision now to do it. I am not going to try. I am going to do it... until I can't.

My goals range from simply tracking what I eat to hiking to the highest point in Arizona! I am ambitious, but have to remember to keep the steps small so I feel the power of success on my way to larger goals and don't get overwhelmed in the process!

I wish to play Soccer with my daughter as much as possible. I will be able to hike Humphrey's Peak (4.7 miles and 3313 ft elevation gain)! I will run.

I will achieve all of these things and maintain that lifestyle for myself and my daughter.

On December 27th, 2013, I joined Weight Watchers in an attempt to get some one-to-one accountability and maybe some competition to help rev up my will-power! See blogs!

* Have a more active lifestyle! (in process)
* Walk! and eventually RUN!
* Hike! Starting with the small hikes here and then the longer hikes up north (where the air is thinner) and then ending on top of Humphrey's Peak (see pic)!!!
* Be more involved in my daughter's life!
* Work on muscle 3x/week
* Work on flexibility daily!

*Stop self-sabotage

*Intentional living
*Relationships (with God first and then with others)

My Program:
* I jump-started my plan by following a detox cleanse first. See blogs for more info.

* As little meat as possible (no red at all and, fish & poultry 2-3 times a week at most)

* All fruits, vegetables, legumes & nuts. As many vegetables as I can hold.

*Strength training 3x per week.

* Cardio - Walk/Run, Cardio video from Spark, Jillian, Leslie, Elliptical or Zumba 6x a week.

* Active rest day on Sunday!

Personal Information:
My name is Terri. I live in Central Arizona with my daughter and am embarking on a new job as a teacher. :)

I enjoy reading, writing, Soccer (newly because I ref my daughter's games), Softball, hiking, fishing, camping and playing with my 7 year old. I also enjoy spending time with my extended family and working to educate kiddos!
