Well it's been about 2 years since I have taken accountability for my health and I have gained nearly all of my weight back. I have been a yo-yo dieter since the age of 13. I weighed 139 pounds when I started my first "diet" 30 years ago. I got down to around 115 pounds were I stayed for about 5 minutes! I "dieted" my way on up to my highest weight of 310 pounds. I have lost weight using many diet principals as they have come into popularity over the years including: starvation, diet pills, laxatives, extreme low-fat, binge/purge, no-carb, low-carb, food combining, and strict calorie counting. Everything I tried worked to some degree but only in the short term. The only thing I accomplished long term was an unhealthy, guilt-ridden relationship with food and my body. I can't remember a time when I didn't value my worth by the size of my pants or the number on a scale. I would like to take a moment now and apologize to myself. I have never deserved the punishment I have heaped on myself. I am sorry I allowed myself to fall prey to discrimination against myself; for avoiding so many experiences because of my fear of what other people would think of me and my size. I am sorry and I will treat myself kinder.

We currently have a dog and two cats.

    Thanks for the goodie!! I'm doing good thanks! I'm still doing weight watchers and curves and LOVING IT! I'm actually sitting here planning to add walking everyday back into my plan and trying to figure out the best way to do it and keep it do-able but challenging...
