Hello and welcome! I am a 36 year old married female who loves life! While it would be nice to drop 10 lbs, I am mostly looking to just get in shape and feel good! I'd really like to tone my muscles, get more energy, and just FEEL healthier overall!

My husband and I have been married for 10 years. We have one daughter who is 3. I lost most of my baby weight right away but have slowly been putting it on over the last few years while I was busy taking care of everyone else. Now it is time to refocus on me. While I am not really the athletic type, I have been enjoying the challenge of conquering each workout and marking it off on my calendar. We have also been experimenting with some new healthy recipes.

My hubby has been my workout partner. He is trying to lose 40lbs. We're doing this together as a family...even the dog and our daughter gets in on the exercise...they both serve as coaches. My daughter also loves to try to exercise with us which we love! At least she is learning from start that exercise is a good thing.

My Goals:
I would like to lose 5 - 10 lbs. But mostly I want to just tone my muscles & feel healthy! I want my body in the best shape possible. I also want to feel a bit more confident in a swimsuit next swim season!

My Program:
I am being mindful when I eat. We are eating at least one meatless meal per week and trying to be careful about how much sugar we are ingesting.We just finished working out 5 days a week to the Michele Rogers Personal Training workouts that are on-demand on Comcast. We saw a great change. Now we are mixing it up and trying the 60 day Piyo workout.

Personal Information:
I am a 36 year old working mom. My husband and I have been married for 11 years. The last few years were a bit crazy with a job loss, my husband's depression, working full time, and taking care of our daughter and home. Now that things are in a better place I am ready to focus on ME again!

Other Information:
Starting Weight: 143

Goal Weight: 135ish

But mostly, I just want to feel healthy! I would really like to tone and gain some muscle as well!

I love to read, listen to music, hang out with my family, and try a new adventure whenever I can. I workout with my husband...we are both working on getting our bodies in better shape. I LOVE working out with him. It motivates me so much!

    Thanks for the comment on my blog. I've been struggling with body image since I was a teen, until I started lifting weights back in November. As I feel my body getting stronger, I feel better about how it looks and I'm more comfortable with wearing clothes that fit more snugly.

    I've been thinking a lot about all the girls on the team and have been checking in periodically (but not commenting too much because I know people don't always need the constant reminder from someone who is pregnant). I know you took a bit of a hiatus from the group. Anyways, I'm just so thrilled that everything has gone well so far. Thanks for checking in!
