    Hey Beth! Stay focused and the veg lifestyle takes time (I've had my slip ups) but regretted it because I could tell in my body (i.e. I felt heavier, floated, or just ill etc.). With the kids/husband since there are so many choices now. I had to swap out meat for other meatless "alternatives" in disguise and sometimes they didn't even know. I'd even mix them at first just so they could try it (kinda how you sneak veggies on toddlers). Like with spaghetti I 'd use more mushrooms and smaller amounts of ground turkey/beef until evetually there were totally deleted. Egg beaters with peppers and tomatoes/seasonings. They even have vegan breakfast patties/links, hamburgers, chiken nuggets etc (morningstar). that are good and meatless. huge baked potatoes, salads and veggies and the meat protions would get smaller. I found a cookbook "student vegetarian cookbook for dummies" which is really straight forward with alot of quick meals. It may take some work but soon they will see the diff also (i.e. now even my husband tries to eat beef at work or away and wonders why he's ill) and I have to remind him. You will feel alot better and lighter for sure in a month even if its not strict ! Me and the kids aren't as sick. The weight and inches also fall off. You can do it!
