I spend a great deal of time taking care of my disabled husband. His disability makes life very stressful so I eat and eat and eat. When I stepped on the scales and saw that my weight was high enough to make me cry, I said that it is time to take care of myself! I want to look really good in my new to me old convertible!

My Goals:
My goal is to be at a healthy weight again!
Mini goals:
- lose 10% of my weight
- climb a small mountain
- lose 25 lbs.
-run for ten minutes straight w/hills five sessions in a row
-get out of the obese BMI range.
- another 10%
-run 15 minutes straight, five times in a row.

My Program:
I am using the SP meal plans and making the changes that fit my personal needs.

I am working on including exercise on a regular basis. It does not come naturally to me so it is work! I'd much rather sit and read or knit or use the computer! But I know that it is important so I am working at it!

Personal Information:
I live in Vermont with my husband, two daughters (ages 15 and 17) and my mother. I also have a grown-up son. My husband is completely disabled so he needs someone at home with him most of the time. Thank God for my mother! She stays with him while I work.

I love my career as a child care administrator. I work with an amazing staff and families. I moved from teaching to being an administrator three years ago. I don't move nearly as much now that I am not keeping up with preschoolers all day!

I am active in my church and wouldn't be able to do any of this without God's guidance and strength.
