    I found one website/blog who said that as long as the calories in your beverage stay below 40 calories, you will stay in the fasting zone..
    I've been having half and half and a tiny splash of pumpkin creamer in my coffee, BUT, I probably drink 2 med/large cups throughout the morning on the way to noon. I've also been chewing sugarless gum to help distract me.
    I started off with just a few days of IF, and then made it up to 5 days a week. Allowing myself to be normal on the weekends, but I've also been bad about solid dinners this week so I'm waking up hungry, so only making it 15 hours fasting. This morning I just ate breakfast at usual time.
    I'm hoping the IF approach and more Keto/Paleo approach will help me reset my body's metabolism a bit and things will start working better? Hitting the gym helps too.

    I guess I'm trying to consider my goal as 'lose weight' with a very ambitious number in front of it, the other things are the outline steps of what I will do to get there.. but also kind of like mini goals. I've been writing in the journal how I'm doing regarding those mini-goals/steps to give myself feedback.

    she is doing IF, Keto and lifting and doing great.

    I've toyed with IF and Keto, but I am trying IF in earnest now.
    for my approach, I'm drinking my morning coffee with cream and cinnamon and giving myself an option to have a dose of physllium husk for filling fiber in the stomach if desperate. I ate later last night than normal, but I think my body's schedule is to eat breakfast by 10 am, so I'm pushing it hard today to make it to noon!

    I'm wondering if maybe you need to sit down and have a gentle chat with him? This may not be the case, but from the outside he sounds a little controlling. It seems like he wants to control the diet, he wants to control the schedule, and when you say you want a day off he wants to control what you do that day (and be there when you do it). That may not be the case, it just kind of sounds like it from the outside. At the very least, it might help to tell him that you're feeling horribly stressed and overwhelmed and could use some help - and have a few specific suggestions at the ready. Good luck!

    You crack me up! I guess they do a lot of "conditioning" in PE now. Last year they ran the mile on like the first day, and that was the benchmark, they were supposed to keep improving. So it was really in your interest to run it super slow the first time, LOL!
