September 2010 While I am proud of myself for being confident enough to wear this basically see-through dress down the runway for Sass Knuckles Fashion and Design during Tucson Fashion Week, I'd like to be a lot thinner! I'm a very healthy person, just...THICK. I would like to both BE healthy as well as LOOK healthy! A work in progress...

I'm going to lose this f&$#ing weight for once and for all!

My goals this year are to lose weight and help the earth/animals/myself by staying vegan. I'm going to do the best I can, and that's all I can do!

Fitness Minutes: 687

My Goals:
- Get my heartrate at least once a day for 30 minutes or more.

- Go to the gym at least 5 days a week.

- Become a better animal activist

- Become particularly passionate and active about at least one cause, get involved

- Stay vegan

- Go to bed before 10 at least 3 nights a week.


My Program:
I am doing a class called Wildcat Weight Loss offered at the University of Arizona's Rec Center. We meet twice a week for guided 50-minute workouts and then workout on our own the rest of the week.

Diet-wise, I'm still trying to be a good little vegan that eats more actual vegetables and less carbs!

Religious view: Agnostic atheist

Heroes: My heroes include St. Francis of Assisi, Cleveland Armory, Mahatma Gandhi, Pamela Anderson (yes, I am being serious), Albert Einstein, and my grandmother, the most amazing woman I have ever met.



Other Information:
I'm vegan. I strongly believe animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way. They are sentient beings that exist for their own reasons, and it is closed-minded of people to think that they're here for our use and exploitation.

    Good for you, that's so impressive! Travel is rough on me, and even with the pass to the Rec I've managed to gain. I have to update my weight, but I'm not sure to what degree the damages is yet... :(

    YES!! I would love to work out together. For some reason it is really difficult for me to follow Stephanie's instructions even in class, so I'd love a partner to work with to recreate them outside class if I'm to have any chance.
    Tomorrow I am planning to walk to my grandparents' house, 3.5 miles away! I'm going to show up and say, "Hi! Can I use your shower?" :)
    Let's plan something for maybe next Wednesday? Sometime after then. My free time is pretty consumed this weekend by my brother's visit.

    Well, I know I haven't been meeting all the goals set out by Stephanie so far, but I think I have made important progress toward figuring out what I'm doing wrong and what I SHOULD be doing. So, that's something.

    If your weight hasn't gone down it's very possible your body fat percentage has! And, really, that's more important, in my opinion. I'll just be really bummed/embarassed if I've gone up on either. That's my real goal, to not gain! Lol. emoticon
