If it helps, I was reading online about interval training and the articles I found said that the "rest" period (in the case of the longer BodyRock vidoes, the jump rope period) should be really really low impact, like, almost more like walking in place. I found that I could get through the video a lot more easily (and give it my ALL during the actual exercises) when I did less impact in the breaks. Not sure if that helps, but wanted to mention it.
And yes, definitely look at salt-free spice mixes - they really help add a lot of flavor without adding salt (despite it's deliciousness!). Good luck finding recipes that work for you! (Oh! Just thought of this - there's a free website called Cooking PlanIt (cookingplanit.com) where you can create a menu with a main and sides - the site then adds the recipes together and creates a sort of timeline for you to cook it, ensuring everything is done at the same time. Maybe try that out? If you do please let me know how you like it!). 2139 days ago

Thanks for your comment on my blog! I guess I'm not super creative when it comes to exercise. I sprained my ankle pretty badly in October, so I really struggle with running or doing incline workouts on a treadmill. So right now I am basically using the recumbent bike or elliptical for about 30-45 minutes of cardio 6 days a week. On Mondays and Thursdays I do this 9-minute arms workout: http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/videos -detail.asp?video=39 and on Sundays, which are technically my rest days, I do a short 10-minute cardio kickboxing workout just to get moving a little bit: http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/videos -detail.asp?video=55
I really want to start lower body strength training, and I've been working on the muscles in my ankle to get it up to speed. I think I'm going to start next week, but haven't found a routine to use yet.
What are some exercises you enjoy? Any good ideas for lower body or core strength training? 2139 days ago

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to get it for Valentine's Day :) I do really think that you'll love it. And even if you don't get it for V-Day, I know and get that 1 lb! 2140 days ago

I know! Edith didn't even look at that paper when she signed it. I had a bad feeling about it. And of course he vanishes and she finds out she's probably pregnant. She just always ends up with bad luck. I feel sorry for her. I have a feeling that her purposefully vanished and it has something to do with whatever she signed. Time will tell I guess. I think there are only a couple episodes left. Actually I just got the fourth season in the mail today, but I'm going to wait and watch when they are on TV. Makes it last longer that way! 2140 days ago

Just wanted to update you on the FitBit Force - I got some rubbing alcohol and used that to clean it really really well and so far so good! Looks like it's safe to use :) Let me know when you get yours! 2141 days ago
