What a difference 87 lbs makes


Now I can...
walk without joint pain or swelling
ride a roller coaster
fit in an airplane seat
wear a swimsuit in public
feel good about myself
buy size 18 clothes!
make healthy choices

It's still a daily struggle, but I can do this!

My Goals:
Lose 100 lbs by my 40th birthday (I didn't quite make it, but that's ok!)







My Program:
 Eat less, Move more.
Count calories.
Balance carbs with protein.

I highly recommend:

The Insulin-Resistance Diet by Hart & Grossman. This book changed the way I think about carbs.

    i did eggbeaters for awhile but couldnt anymore.
    vegetarian. hahahahaha. are they or not depends on the vegetarian you ask. ive met so many vegetarians who eat fish or poultry.
    to me, yes, eggs are vegetarian but i still dont eat them.

    we are painting the second guest room. the first one we painted with glidden paint... orange slice. and the trim we used banana cream pie.
    this one, we are using behr. french lilac for the color and signature blue for the trim.

    thank you for the kind words....

    once we moved, i just had a hard time.
    i was counting calories but not caring. just couldnt lose.
    i was back up to 183.... one day i even saw 190. [i know, i know...]
    but then i just thought... if i care so much, and i must since i work out hours a day, then you HAVE to do something.
    and i tried it.
    the first 3 weeks, i lost 12 pounds....
    and wasnt hungry.
    so ive stuck with it pretty much.
