Hi, My name is Diana, I am hearing impaired and age 43, I weight last June 18 2007 280,. now I down to 258, I still have a long way to go, but hey.. what can I say... Just hang on and keep fighing it, I have 4 surgeries ,my right knee last Feb 24, 2006, My neck last Nov 3rd 2006, my left knee last Feb 13 2007 and my most recently right knee surgery was last April 10. I had been put on a lots of weight cause I had a lots of pain on my knees and it hard to exercises, so I eat and gain weight just to make me feel good, only it make it worse. I notice that my both lower legs, my ankles and my foots swell like a balloon, I got real scare and afraid I might end up getting stroke or heart attack, so I decided to go exercise and pray I can do it.. I mostly do it for my health, I want to feel alive again.

Sept 25 2007.. went from 280 to 237

Sadly I went back to weight 280 pounds in July/Aug 2008, because of my fibromyalgia I had taken so many different medications and it caught me to regain a large portion of my weight, right now I am taking two mediciation that will not effect my weight so now I am weight 246 pounds, I had been on a strict diet, I exercise at the fitness so I need to get back into iT

May 12 2009 " My grandson birthday and he turn 3.........

I am almost there to reach my first goal, I had so far lost 70 pounds and have 25 more to go, I am very exciting, my next goal will be down to 165, but I am not in the hurry to go this far, if I do make it, I will be happy, if I don;t, then it is a okay, cause compare 280 and 185... ita increable feeling that I had make it this much, so I am very bless

i finally lost 82 pounds and no more 200's..... NOW I am 198.2 How awesome is that!!!! I am so proud of myself, can't get anymore prouder then that... I feel so fine and so happy and so greaaaattttttt!

    Glad to hear from you. Don't give up. I'm glad to hear that you are losing. It's a harder fight when we hurt. When I can't exercise I watch what I eat. Cutting calorie intake can cause you to lose without exercise, just don't cut out too many too quickly or your body will think starvation. Eat better. Read anything about nutrtion and healthy foods and foods that fight inflamation. They will help you to lose. Pick what you like to eat from fruits and vegies and whole grains. You won't have as much pain. You will get more energy too.
