I have done the WW thing and was very successful at reaching my goal weight. This being said, I am now back to loosing the same 20 I lost plus an additonal 30! This year the only thing constant is change! The Lord is taking myself and my family in a new direction. My husband and I have 3 girls (21, 20, 18) and the baby will be a senior in high school next year. This is only the begining! Our parents are getting older in life and we are moving to be closer to them to be ready to help in whatever capacity that is to be. My husband and middle daughter joined SP 3 weeks later and everyone has been doing a great job at motivating each other. I joined the first week of April and jumped on the motivation bandwagon! Our other two daughters, though they may not need to loose weight, have benefited from our choice to eat more healthy meals and pay more attention to what goes into our mouths. I am excited to see how this chapter is going to unfold itself as we emerge from this like butterflys from a cocoon! This journey is going to be different, in that we plan to stay the course and not shoot for a "goal weight" then live differently. We want to live healthy and be active in our lifestyle. I am glad they found SP!!!!

Fitness Minutes: 5,321

My Goals:
My first goal was to loose 50 pounds and see how I felt. Well that, PRAISE GOD, has been accomplished. Now I am setting my goals based on how I "feel" in my new body! My next goal is to be the weight I was when I got pregnant wth our first child (135), my second be the weight I was when I got married (125). I also want to start strength training so that I can tone my body into something that looks stronger, and bones that are stronger. I know that the weight I might be on the scale might be different, but I think I will look better when everything is toned!!!

My Program:
I exercise 6 days a week taking Sunday off. 3 days I walk with my hubby approx. 4 miles (60 minutes) and 3 days I walk/run almost 2 (30 minutes).

I also track everything that goes into my mouth. This is were I have found that I am successful. No matter what or how much I eat, it gets logged in.

Friday is weigh day. I weigh the same time every week and then eat whatever I want or have denied myself all week. This ALL gets tracked and at the end of the day, closed out. What I have found is that my "cravings" are short lived and I am very picky as to want I will eat!

Personal Information:
Home for my family at the moment is St. Louis, however we are from the Orlando area and my husband's job search ended Friday, October 2.... Praise God!!! The girls and I are preparing to move back after our youngest daughter graduates from high school in May 2010.

    you are so welcome, and the raw food is going well i am adding more and more raw foods daily to date i have lost 45 lbs and counting, I feel great, one of my goals is to be able to pray on my knees again it may sound simple and I know the LORD hears my prayers standing or sitting, because he answers I just want to be able to serve him with my all that I have. I was able to stand during praise and worship sunday without knee pain. I will keep yo inu prayer concerning employment. let us look to hills from which come our help our help comes from the LORD that created heaven and earth, so let us cast every care on him because he cares for us and what we have need blessed today karen

    The one thing you didn't show Amanda how to do was to trim the hedges. The one by the front door is growing like a weed taking over that whole area. Something for you to do when you get home!!
