I'm a 69 year old grandmother from North Carolina. I enjoy cooking and that may be my downfall. All that tasting has added more than a few pounds.👵. I saw this ap and decided to give it a try.

Fitness Minutes: 3,110

My Goals:
All I ask is that you don't laugh. I want to get down to 125 lbs. My daughter says that's too thin for a woman that's 5 ft. 2 in. tall. I say, "baloney!". I was 2 inches taller and 10 pound lighter when she was a baby. So Here's the deal. I need all the support I can get. Are you with me, Gang?

My Program:
I've been unsuccessful at diets so my plan is to pick the most healthful food on the days menu, have a sensible portion (using the diabetic diet standard) and consume the food slowly. That trick was something I saw on a TV show. You lay your fork down, put your hands in your lap, chew your food 20 times, take a sip of your beverage, then do it again.
For exercise, I do squats, leg lifts, arm weights, walking or treadmill as the weather determines, and some yoga stretches and strength exercises.

Personal Information:
I'm on disability retirement and have more spare parts than my old Ford. I want to get back in shape so that the family vacations aren't such a strain on the daughter and her husband. She has taken care of me since I first came down here. Two weeks after I arrived here, looking forward to a better job, I wound up in the hospital, and that's been the story of my life ever since. I'm finally at the point that I think that everything that can be replaced, removed, or otherwise renovated, has been. Now Lets Get Strong Again.
