Hey there Dimples! LOL Couldn't resist. Thanks for the FB add.

I updated My Two Cents: Dog Training Blog to include advice regarding Diggers, as well as some other issues that fellow Sparklers asked about.
"DIGGING: If your dog is accustomed to your disapproving EHHH EHHH just catch them at it & express displeasure. ("EHHH EHHH No Digging". Mine stop immediately. Distraction is quite helpful thereafter...how about a nice game of fetch the stick?)

Is the issue boredom or they after some burrowed critter? If mine are after a critter, "LEAVE IT" usually works unless they are in the midst of a frenetic chase. Then I don't bother. I set them up to succeed...if I know the command will do no good, I do not give it so they do not become accustomed to ignoring my directions.

Is your dog spending too much time outside unsupervised? Take up gardening or sit outside with a book. Really your dog just wants to be with YOU.

A digger may not be getting enough exercise and mental stimulation. Consider giving him a job. Buy a K9 backpack and have him carry water on a hike. A tired dog is a happy dog.

    SPARK ON my friend! emoticon

Hello, sorry it took so long to get back to you. By system, it is just a combination of goals and rewards. I didn't invent it but read a story on Spark People that it was very helpful to do this to help me achieve what i want out not only health, but life. It has tremendously help me to get where I am at today. I have a major annual goal, but i have many different tiny goals and many small rewards, I seem to work harder to reach the small goal to receive the small rewards. Thank-you for asking. emoticon

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I have tried Whole 30. It was okay. Took a lot of planning. Food was great though. Best wishes!
