My name is Stacy and I will start from the very beginning.

*It all started when I was 12 years old. I had always been a fat kid and finally when I was 12 my mom took action. My max weight was 215...for a 12 year old!!!! Thats insane!! For 3 summers in a row I went to weight loss camp. I LOVED IT. That began my passion and love for exercising.

*After those 3 consecutive summers I weighed about 170 give or take 5 lbs here and there. Over the course of the rest of high school and the beginning of college my weight flucuated from 155 to 180 ( i think).

*Then the fall semester of 2007 my weight crept all the way up to 190. It was the combination of drinking too much and going out to eat alot. I always was semi seeing an over weight guy which made me feel ok if i was over weight...not good.

*Beginning Jan 2008 I really got serious about dropping the weight. I started keeping a food journal which I have with me at all times so I can count my calories and exercising more intensely. I had always been a gym rat but I never focused on my nutrition heavily or really made sure to make all my time at the gym truly count.

*Now here I am Aug 2008, 8 months later and I have lost 51 lbs!!! My original goal was just to get to 160 by summer but once the I started my new program the pounds just were melting off me. It was such a great feeling to know I was losing weight and not having any clothes fit me. I went from a size 16 wm to a 8 wm and a size 17 juniors to a 9 juniors.

*My current goal now is to get down to 130. I know that that is acheivable. I am 5'4" and have an atheletic/muscular build. I am just 8 lbs away!!!

Fitness Minutes: 2,039

My Goals:
To define and build my muslces..get cut.

I also want to drop that last 10 pounds---you know that annoying weight that just seems to linger.

My Program:
I do cardio 6x a week and lift 4x a week. I just finished doing Jillian Michaels Making the Cut so I am going to write my own spilt lifting routine now.

*update 8/08
Right now I am doing a front/back 4-day split. It consists of weight training mixed with bursts of cardio.

Personal Information:
I started getting really serious about losing weight, eating right, and getting fit in Janurary 2008. Since then i have lost 47lbs. Once i decided to do something i go for it the best i can. My diet consists of mostly clean diet foods and i make sure i get my necessary protein amount per day to build and define my muscles.

I love to workout and love even more seeing my body changing for the better.

    Funny thing is that I haven't been really strict with my calories. I mean they're less than before but they're not terribly low. I do think that it doesn't hurt to do the calorie cycling thing. Congrats on you being back down too! I bet tomorrow you'll be back to where you were before.
