Update 11/18/14: I've been on this site long enough to have read most articles, logged lots of exercise, and tracked plenty of food. And yet I still have so much to learn. I seem to get hung up every time I reach a new "low" weight and don't maintain it for long. I think it may be my inability to imagine myself at a healthy weight since I've never really seen it. I'm just grateful to have this site for every time I stumble. I'm always interested in new SparkFriends for the journey, too!

Update 7/29/13: Here we go again! That's all I'm gonna say. ;)

Update 8/1/09: Thanks to all who donated towards my 26.2 mile marathon to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I walked it in 6hrs 18 min. It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life!

Wilson is back to a healthy weight now! He's lost 13 pounds. I can't wait to reach my goal now, too!

I have my new rescue dog to thank for getting me exercising again. He's launched a renewed energy and drive for me to get in shape. I just wished it would have launched in the spring when there was plenty of nice weather and sunshine!

7. Don't throw recyclables in the trash around me or one of us will be fishing them out.

    Hello SPIFF37, I finally decided to check in with my spark page and saw your comment:) My knee is doing well and I'm averaging 3 to 4 miles a day. Best part, is I gained 27 degrees range of motion and I've been back to the gym 6 weeks now. Hope you're doing good and healthy! How are your dogs doing?
