EA Active is kind of a mixed bag. Some of the exercises I like a lot (the boxing is great, and better than the ussual wii boxing where you just sort of fail, though both will work up a sweat). Running on the "track" on your TV is neat, though I think if I do it alot I'll invest in one of those little trampolines because running in place on hard wood seems to be worse for my knee than running for real on the treadmill. It took me a little while to get use to their resistance band, but that's my fault because I didn't read the instruction booklet first (I never do with other video games, but should have guessed this time I should). I wish it gave a little more direction than an all or nothing, make your own program or follow ours, just taking out the exercises you don't want. Perhaps a suggestion fuction "if you can't do that one than here's a modified version". I have a bum knee so I don't want to do a lot of lunges for fear of putting too much pressure on them, but the "easy" exercise routine featured three or four sets of them. Again, if I'd figured out how to see which exercises were involved I would have had a better sense. This was only my first time playing with it and I definitely will play with it again :).

There are a lot of podcasts out there at this point. I think I prefer the ones with people talking, because they tend to include encouragement, but really anything that has music that keeps you moving is great. Here are three other pop/hiphopy ones, if you want to check them out:
